Nac\u00ed el 21 de abril de 1932 en la ciudad de Concord, New Hampshire en los EEUU. Soy la segunda de cuatro hermanos. Cuando estuve en la escuela tuve muchas oportunidades de encontrar y admirar a las Hermanas de Santa Cruz que viv\u00edan al otro lado de nuestra calle. Un d\u00eda escuch\u00e9 a mi pap\u00e1 decir: \u00abMe gustar\u00eda tanto que uno de mis hijos fuera religioso\u00bb. Estas palabras despertaron en m\u00ed algo muy fuerte.<\/p>

En agosto de 1950 entre como postulante en la Congregaci\u00f3n Santa Cruz en Montreal, Canad\u00e1. Despu\u00e9s del noviciado y juniorado celebr\u00e9 mis votos perpetuos en agosto de 1957. Aunque desde el inicio de mi formaci\u00f3n viv\u00ed algo muy sincero en mi camino, aprend\u00ed cuan preciosa fue la fundaci\u00f3n de la Congregaci\u00f3n y c\u00f3mo la historia fue llena de sorpresas y desaf\u00edos.<\/p>

Los a\u00f1os siguientes ense\u00f1\u00e9 en el nivel b\u00e1sico y medio en Nueva York y Vermont. Luego cambi\u00e9, ya que asum\u00ed el cargo de directora del colegio San Jos\u00e9 en el estado de New Hampshire y eso fue muy satisfactorio para m\u00ed. Me gusta todo lo relacionado a la educaci\u00f3n con ni\u00f1os y recib\u00ed de la Congregaci\u00f3n todo para hacerlo bien. En comunidad, las hermanas me ayudaron a crecer, a ir m\u00e1s all\u00e1 en mi vocaci\u00f3n y a descubrir la fidelidad de Dios en mi vida como mujer en Santa Cruz. Desempe\u00f1\u00e9 tambi\u00e9n el servicio de Directora de Ministerios, pero guardaba el sue\u00f1o de salir a las misiones extranjeras.<\/p>

La Congregaci\u00f3n me invit\u00f3 en 1991 a unirme a la misi\u00f3n del Per\u00fa. Despu\u00e9s de el espa\u00f1ol en Lima, he trabajado en colaboraci\u00f3n con los Padres de Santa Cruz por diez a\u00f1os, en un proyecto de rehabilitaci\u00f3n integral de ni\u00f1os con dificultades mentales y f\u00edsicas. Los fines de semana ayudaba como coordinadora de la capilla Se\u00f1or de los Milagros. Ah\u00ed aprend\u00ed m\u00e1s de lo que esperaba en medio de la gente humilde.<\/p>

En el 2001 llegue a Santiago de Chile para dirigir un Hogar de ni\u00f1os abandonados. Este fue un proyecto de los padres de Santa Cruz. Ahora los ni\u00f1os bajo la protecci\u00f3n de un matrimonio, viven en casas familiares. Actualmente estoy dirigiendo el Centro de Apostolado del Rosario en Familia. Tengo mucho que aprender del P. Patrick Peyton csc fundador de la obra. Vivo y trabajo tambi\u00e9n en la Parroquia Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de Andacollo dirigido por los padres de Santa Cruz. Estar en Chile es un privilegio en mi vida y doy gracias al Se\u00f1or.<\/p>

Por quince a\u00f1os he visto el brote de Santa Cruz crecer en Lima y en Puno (Per\ufffd). Eso me llena de esperanza en nuestro futuro. Quiero seguir colaborando donde el Esp\u00edritu me manda y gritar mi agradecimiento por lo que he recibido y vivido en mi familia de Santa Cruz, gozando de la fidelidad de Dios en mi vida.
